Písničkář CD - Vladimír Veit

Vladimír Veit, jeden z členů hudebního sdružení Šafrán, natočil v květnu a červnu 2011 své třinácté studiové album, které příznačně nazval Písničkář. Kolekce patnácti písní vznikla v domácím studiu Vladimíra Merty, jenž album aranžoval a přidal se k nahrávání i jako instrumentalista. V několika skladbách přijali účast i dva další hosté - Sára Mertová a Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba. Veitovo nové album nechce být obsahově převratné nebo nuceně revoluční. Přináší nám typického Veita s jeho písněmi o láskách, dětství, ženách, lidských vztazích a o kočkách. Jemná a křehká poezie na desce plné nenápadných, ale dobře zapamatovatelných melodií navazuje na to nejlepší z českého městského písničkářství let šedesátých a sedmdesátých. Vladimír Veit (* 13. února 1946 v Benešově u Prahy)Písničkář, hudební skladatel, textař, publicista. Patří k první generaci městských písničkářů, ovlivněných zejména poezií beatniků a Bobem Dylanem, kteří začali veřejně vystupovat kolem roku 1966. Byl prvním jevištním partnerem Jaroslava Hutky (1967-1968), s nímž hráli zejména české překlady Dylana a Donovana, ale i své písně. Veit byl členem volného sdružení Šafrán (1972-1978), vždy jako by trochu trochu ve stínu svých slavnějších a suverénnějších kolegů Merty, Třešňáka a Hutky. S přestávkami vystupoval, proslavil se jako křehký lyrik, výborný melodik a zejména jako autor řady zásadních písní z Hutkova repertoáru (např. Pravděpodobné vzdálenosti; Hospodskej; Život tě naučí; Světlo a stín; Instituce aj.). Ve spolupráci s multiinstrumentalistou Emilem Pospíšil natočil v husákovském Československu dvě vynikající alba (Texty; Quo vadis), která ovšem mohla vyjít jen v exilovém vydavatelství Šafrán 78 Jiřího Pallase. Do exilu odešel po třech letech i sám Veit (1981), a sice do Rakouska. Zde pokračoval ve zhudebňování svých oblíbených básníků i vydávání LP desek (Ve lví stopě; Šla Nanynka do zelí; François Villon: Básně. Hraje a zpívá Vladimír Veit). Po listopadu natočil a vydal vlastním nákladem několik "samopalových" nahrávek (Ještě to neskončilo; Kde domov můj; Slova; Jménem poesie; Křišťálové studánky; Štěstí) a knihu sebraných písňových textů Jménem poesie. V roce 1990 se vrátil domů a žije na venkově v jižních Čechách. V roce 2011 dokončil ve spolupráci s Vladimírem Mertou nové studiové album Písničkář a pracuje na rukopisu svých vzpomínek.
